FAQs

1. What makes Face Photo different from other headshot studios?

Face Photo offers elevated headshots and portraits that balance approachability with sophistication. Each session is tailored to your goals — whether you’re updating your LinkedIn profile, building your creative portfolio, or presenting your leadership image for your company. We combine cinematic lighting, precise direction, and minimal retouching to create portraits that feel honest and confident.

2. Do you photograph both corporate and creative clients?

Yes. We work with both individual professionals and creative teams.
Corporate sessions are designed for consistency across teams and brand guidelines, while creative sessions focus on individuality and expression. The results are clean, intentional, and timeless across both.

3. Where are sessions held?

Sessions are typically photographed in Los Angeles, either in-studio or on location. We offer on-site setups for offices and production environments, as well as outdoor or lifestyle sessions for creatives and entrepreneurs. Location recommendations are provided during booking.

4. How long does a session take?

Most headshot sessions last 30–60 minutes depending on wardrobe changes and lighting setup. Group or company sessions can be scheduled in blocks to accommodate multiple people efficiently. Creative portrait sessions generally run 60–90 minutes.

5. How soon will I receive my photos?

A proof gallery is usually delivered within 3 business days of your session. Final edited images are provided within 7 business days of your selections. Rush delivery is available upon request.

6. Do you offer retouching?

Yes — natural retouching is included with every delivered image. The goal is to keep you looking like yourself on your best day. We remove distractions (blemishes, flyaways, uneven tones) without over-editing or altering expression.

7. Can you photograph my whole team or company?

Absolutely. We provide cohesive, brand-consistent headshots for entire teams — either in our Los Angeles studio or at your location. Portable studio setups ensure consistency in lighting and composition, even across different shoot days or offices.

8. What should I wear for my session?

Wear something that feels like you, but elevated.
For corporate looks: solid colors, subtle patterns, and clean tailoring.
For creatives: texture, layers, and tones that express personality.
Avoid overly busy patterns, logos, or bright neon colors. We’ll guide you before and during the session for best results.

9. Do you help with posing or expression?

Yes. You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera — that’s our job. We direct you naturally to bring out genuine, confident expressions that align with your professional image.

10. How do I book a session?

You can book directly through our Contact Page or by email. Once we confirm availability, we’ll send a simple booking form and session guide. A deposit reserves your date and time.

11. Do you travel for shoots outside Los Angeles?

Yes — we regularly travel for on-location shoots, corporate teams, and editorial assignments. Travel fees vary based on location. Contact us for a custom quote.

12. Do you provide hair and makeup?

Professional grooming can be arranged upon request. We work with experienced stylists who understand camera-friendly makeup and natural looks for both men and women.

13. Can I get both headshots and portraits in one session?

Yes — many clients combine both. A standard session can include clean, classic headshots and looser, editorial-style portraits in one sitting. We’ll plan your wardrobe and lighting setups accordingly.

14. How do you deliver the final images?

Final, retouched images are delivered via a secure online gallery for easy download and sharing. Images are provided in high-resolution and web-optimized formats.

15. What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the session will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 72 hours may be rescheduled once at no cost. Same-day cancellations or no-shows forfeit the deposit.
